TACP have been commissioned to carry out a feasibility study and subsequently implementation of a new construction and engineering based facility for Coleg Cambria at their Bersham Road site.
The existing facilities needed enhancement to bring them in line with current expectations, standards and expansion of the educational curriculum.
The key challenge was to retain as much of the site in education during the works through a complex series of enabling works and phasing. The project was developed with intense dialogue with the College to ensure all requirements including for future development and expansion are being integrated into the design. The project includes facilities for – Welding/ Metalwork, Wood-working, Bricklaying, Plastering, Floor-laying, Decorating, Electrical, Plumbing and AutoMechanics.
