This new development in Llangollen offers medical care to support the local community.
The health centre is shared between the Llangollen GP practice, the Health Board, Denbighshire County Council social care and voluntary sector services. A wide range of services will be provided from the centre such as GP services, community nursing and midwifery services, outpatient clinics, therapies, mental health care services and social care.
The aim has been to design a development that is in keeping with the existing context and responds to this important location within the World Heritage site and as a gate way to Llangollen. The proposed building has several elements to ensure the overall mass and design, adopts a scale and proportion more akin to the scale of buildings on Mill Street and within the Llangollen conservation area.
