TACP Architects were tasked with creating designs for a rapid response hub and associated safety centre for Cheshire Fire and Rescue on the Junction of the M6 and M56.
The building is arranged around a central communal area with a multi-functional approach, which allows the facility to be used to educate school children and organized groups as well as operational personnel. The two facilities, whilst being physically separate, allow for a visual interaction between them.

The Safety Centre is focused around a central multi-functional reception facility and four primary zones depicting various environments and the hazards associated with these in an interactive real time environment. The zones vary in content, depicting scenes from a domestic level through to external environments designed to give a fully immersive experience. The project will be delivered to BIM Level 2.
